1. About these terms
These terms apply when you visit the DaySure website, create an account, obtain a quote, purchase a policy or use our customer and claims services.
Separate policy wording, schedules, certificates, statements of fact, key facts documents and product information may also apply to an insurance policy. If there is any conflict, the applicable policy documents will govern the insurance cover.
2. About DaySure
DaySure provides online access to insurance products, quotes, policy documents, payments, customer accounts and claims services.
Insurance cover is subject to eligibility, payment, underwriting criteria and the terms shown before purchase. You should read all information carefully before buying a policy and contact us if anything is unclear or incorrect.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate and current information.
- You must protect your password and account access.
- You must notify us if you believe your account is compromised.
- You must not use another person's identity or information without lawful authority.
- You are responsible for checking that the information held in your account is correct.
4. Quotes
A displayed quote or estimate is not a guarantee of cover. A quote may depend on eligibility checks, underwriting criteria, information supplied by you, payment confirmation and acceptance of the relevant terms.
Quotes may expire, change or be withdrawn before payment. You must review all information carefully before accepting a quote.
5. Your duty to provide accurate information
You must answer all questions honestly, carefully and completely. Incorrect or incomplete information may affect the price, terms or validity of your insurance and may result in a claim being reduced or rejected where legally permitted.
You must tell us promptly if any information you have provided changes before cover starts or during the policy period.
6. Payment and policy issue
Payment is processed using an external payment provider. Insurance cover does not begin merely because payment details have been entered. Cover begins only when payment is successful, the policy is issued and the start date and time shown in the policy schedule has arrived.
If payment fails, is reversed or is suspected to be fraudulent, cover may not be issued or may be cancelled where permitted by law and the policy terms.
7. Policy documents
You must read the policy schedule, certificate, policy wording, statement of fact and any endorsements. These documents explain what is covered, what is excluded, any limits, excesses and conditions that apply.
Contact DaySure promptly if any information is incorrect or if you do not understand any part of your policy documents.
8. Claims
Claims must be reported in accordance with the policy wording. You must provide truthful information and reasonable evidence requested in connection with a claim.
You must not submit false, exaggerated or misleading information. Doing so may affect your claim and could result in cancellation or further action where permitted by law.
9. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation rights, refunds and administration charges depend on the policy type, timing, whether cover has started and the applicable policy terms. Please read the cancellation and refunds page and your policy documents for more information.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- attempt to access another customer's account;
- interfere with the platform or its security;
- upload malicious, unlawful or misleading material;
- use the platform to commit fraud or another offence;
- copy or exploit platform content without permission; or
- use automated tools to abuse, scrape or overload the platform.
11. Availability
We aim to keep the platform available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party services, payment providers, hosting providers and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect information you provide, unauthorised account access caused by your failure to keep login details secure, or events outside our reasonable control.
13. Changes
We may update these terms when our services, legal obligations, technology or business arrangements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
